I haven't been around much because RL has been alternately beating me over the head with a frying pan and closing in on me like the garbage disposal in Star Wars. But at least I'm still keeping up with the most important of my TV shows.



HOW DO YOU BASE AN ENTIRE EP ON SAM GOING INTO HELL AND NOT MAKE A SINGLE REFERENCE TO THE CAGE? OR ANY PREVIOUS OCCASION IN WHICH SAM MIGHT HAVE WANTED TO GET INTO HELL?

I mean, it's one thing not to keep up with canon as obsessively as the fans do, even if it's your damn job. But this is unreal.

I know. I don't know how they can justify doing this. And all in one episode! I'm sure many fans would have loved to see this happen over a few eps. and they could have fleshed it out more and made it work with canon!

When they said they were doing a "reboot," I didn't think that meant forgetting what they already established as canon. Or, you know, used to motivate entire season-long storylines. :(

Since the rant is on - what about the angels who were supposed to protect the prophet? Why on earth didn't at least one of the angels go and protect Kevin from Crowley????

I agree they should have acknowledged the fact that Sam did spend how long in the Cage????

I understand that okay they can't make a movie out of it but he went in quickly - to purgatory and then to hell and back again? Wait the only place Sam didn't go that Dean went to is now Faerie land.....

I thought that was all in Kevin's head, since the windows were restored by the time the boys got there and there wasn't blood all over the place. Which might be wishful thinking, IDK.

And that time passes differently in Hell than on Earth. I also love how Sam left the door wide open between Hell and Purgatory. Whoopsie.

The season has had its ups and downs. To say the last.
