That was pretty much everything I wanted out of that ep. The only thing that could have been better was less cheesy dialogue in the final scene, but wev.
I was laughing so hard not just at Dean lip-syncing, but his expression when Sam caught him at it. That whole dialogue-less scene was one of the funniest moments ever on this show; their expressions were priceless, esp. Dean's. And the two leviathans comparing how screwed up their "hosts" are was also hilarious. "I'll stick with this one; he has better hair." Even the leviathans can hair-wank, apparently.
I'm sure everyone's going to be squeeing over the hotness of evil!Dean, but GUH. Just, damn. The wink, and the growling at chained!up!Sam, and the grinning into the camera...whew! *fans self*
I'm a little sad they wrapped up the fugitive!Sam-n-Dean plot so soon, but it made sense the way the head dude put it. Loved him smacking down Crowley. This means, of course, that Crowley's going to have to ask the boys for help if he wants to take down the leviathans...
I wish the dialogue in that last scene hadn't been so awkward, and maybe I'm just biased because I read an interview with Jensen where he eye-rolled at it, because otherwise that would have made me quite happy. Sam should be pissed as hell at Dean over lying to him. He should not want to see his face right now. At least, not for a day or something, because they really can't survive without each other right now.
There's probably some interesting parallels to 1.06 that I'll think of later, but since my hotel Internet connection is about to run out, I'll have to come back to that...
