Heh. Your reaction to opening day and mine were completely opposite. I hate baseball on opening day in Cincinnati. I'm mildly fond of it the rest of the year.

ETA: Your reaction is way better than mine. I just work at the parade terminus, three blocks from the ballpark and opening day makes work very difficult.

LOL! I get excited about opening day because it symbolizes spring and the potential of a new year. I'm less excited once I realize how unlikely my teams are to fulfill that potential. :(
