Day Nine says "A moment in your day (this can be just a photo or both a photo and words)"
Well, I didn't get a photo of this, which is probably a good thing. BUT.
Mr. Z and I live in a condo in the city center, on the fourth floor with a big outdoor patio/balcony. Last night, we noticed a dead pigeon on the patio. We knew it was dead because only half of it was there. D: If we still lived in a house, like we did up until May, we might have counted on something coming and dragging it away to finish eating it. Not so likely on the fourth floor.
Thankfully, it was the bottom half that was remaining, so when Mr. Z put on rubber gloves this morning and went out on the patio, he could pick it up by a leg and put it in a trash bag. Most. Disgusting. Thing. I have ever seen. So glad that one of the very few ways my husband fits the standard male gender role is in his willingness to dispose of unpleasant things.
So, how was your day?
