Dear readers,

Thanks for responding to my 31 days posts as you have. It's been nice hearing back from you, and I've been happy to see other people picking up this meme or one like it as well. We get out of life what we put into it, and that includes little corners of our lives like LJ. I'm especially happy that I got to hang out with an LJ friend a couple of weeks ago; harrigan had suggested that I come visit her some time, and I took advantage of a spare day I had before leaving town for my sabbatical to do just that. I always love discussing fic with a fellow writer, but fangirling in general is fun, too. :) Also, the town she lives in is amazingly awesome and I wish I lived there. But it's always great to meet someone in person that I know through the Internet (we had met briefly at a con a few years ago, but not for very long) and talk about RL things and be reminded that each of us is a unique, interesting person online as well as off. So thanks for reading, everyone, and thanks for being you!

I have to admit, I was tempted to reverse my decision not to go when I saw there was going to be a Pacific Rim panel. But then I looked at the dates and WHOOPS I'm running a half marathon that weekend. Maybe next year if it's in a location more to my liking?
