So [livejournal.com profile] dugindeep picked out five icons for me to talk about a while ago, and I finally got to it!

This is a crop of a photo I took of Midway Airport in Chicago (probably while coming into O'Hare, LOL). If you've never flown into Midway, the airfield is exactly the size of a city block, smack in the middle of the Southwest Side, which means there are houses and stores right across the street from the end of runway. It's a very exciting landing. I use this icon for travel-related sorts of things.

Heh. This is, of course, from the SPN ep where they take the dreamroot. It's one of the very first icons I made, looking for something "sexy." It ended up being the default icon for The Winchester Identity and timestamps/sequels, so that's what I think of when I see it.

From the first SPN ep I saw live, and still the best ep ever. (You know which one I'm talking about, right?) It certainly looks like something else is going on, though...

I picked [livejournal.com profile] amindaya's art in the first two [livejournal.com profile] spn_reversebangs because there was this lovely quality to it that made me wonder what the story was behind the picture. Why did Sam/Jared have wings? Why was he up on top of a building in the middle of the city? Winged!Jared is still my favorite 'verse out of everything I've written, and I'm thrilled to be able to say that not only am I halfway done with the final story in the trilogy, but [livejournal.com profile] amindaya has expressed interest in doing another piece of art for me. :DDDDD

Boys holding hands and taking care of each other. :) And lovely, long, capable fingers. Mmmm.

I'm not tagging anyone, but please do comment and share the story behind one of your icons!

I love the fried liver wash icon although it conjours up something really disgusting. I made my icon because sometimes I just need to see Sean Bean smile...and not die horribly.

It's from Joshua Tree National Park, and I think it's the best placename National Park sign ever. :D

LOL at your icon explanation!
